Over the past month or so, Neill Blomkamp’s Oats Studios have truly delivered the goods and better yet, they’re entirely free to view! But what makes it even more interesting is that they’re experimenting with a new model in which they’re releasing content on Steam with the option to purchase a DLC. The DLC section varies from concept art to high resolutions of the short films themselves, there is a bunch of stuff on there that could potentially open many doors but, then again maybe not. It basically comes down to you, the fans, if this is something that makes sense and you want more of this, let them know.
So, with a new week brings us another slice of Oats goodness in the form of their latest short, Firebase. It depicts an alternate Vietnam war and it’s highly ambitious. I won’t spoil it, so I suggest that you check it out below and let us or better yet, them know what you think. And remember, be sure to check out their Steam page for extra content.
