Horror Short Film - "The Sleepover"

Go here for more information about this award-winning short by Chris Cullari. (My favorite part is the bumper sticker.)

Dance Grotesque

I don't know what the artist intended with this piece, but it reminds me of Carpenter's version of The Thing.

Monster Roll - A Horror Short

“In ancient Japan, men once made a pact with the sea to kill only what he eat. But the promise has since been broken.” Ah, so that’s why these indignant sea monsters are gatecrashing sushi bars like angry activists. Everyone’s been jumping up and down on the back of this epic 6-min teaser short for LA-based director Dan Black’s Monster Roll, and rightfully so, for the fact that it’s got an excellent cast, beautiful colour saturations and badass sea beast effects. The crew has hinted on Twitter that they might head to Kickstarter to get a full film (or at least a longer short) off the ground. Hmm, wonder if mankind ever made a pact with tomato fields too.

Would Not Eat: Grody Toe Cookies

The description by Brittany High says, "Natasha of Nevie-Pie Cakes makes cookies resembling some seriously crusty, busted up tootsies. These piggies got probleeeeems, you understand? I never even seen a toe be so nasty… I just can’t even! No word on what flavor they are, but let’s just assume they taste like a combination of disease, rotting flesh, and toe jam. Unless you’re ordering Natasha’s severed ear cookies (pictures below). Those probably taste more like disease, rotting flesh, and ear wax."
